Kate is the founder and CEO of yeep hr, LLC. Kate started yeep hr after realizing that corporate life left little time to prioritize the important things in life – her family. In launching yeep hr, Kate believes it is important that small and mid-size businesses have access to the same, high-quality Human Resources expertise that large companies have. In leveraging her knowledge of labor and employment law with her passion for Human Resources, she ensures that her clients have world-class Human Resources support without the cost of having an in-house team.

Kate began her career in the private practice of law specializing in labor and employment litigation matters on behalf of individuals. Through this experience, she saw the toll that litigation takes on individuals, both financially and emotionally. Deciding that it would be better to try and eliminate the things that most often led to litigation, she left private practice to join the Human Resources Leadership Development Program at a Fortune 50 company. There, she assisted with collective bargaining, labor contract administration, policy development and general matters involving Human Resources. From there, she had roles of increasing responsibility, and has served as the Head of Human Resources in the manufacturing, healthcare, oil and gas, and biotech sectors.
